Two peptide quotes are comparable only when they refer to the same identity, specification and commercial scope. A lower unit price can hide differences in testing, packaging, lead time or shipping responsibility.
Normalize the technical scope
Compare the sequence or chemical identity, requested grade, analytical method, purity criterion, pack size and batch document package. Confirm whether the quoted amount is net peptide content, gross powder weight or another measure where this distinction matters.
Normalize the commercial scope
Check currency, Incoterm, freight, payment terms, lead-time assumptions and validity date. Ask how deviations, replacement material and changes in production timing are handled. For recurring supply, consider consistency and traceability beyond the first order.
